  1. This picture here is a promo poster for a new game Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes by Konami. The game itself features a new powerful game engine called the Fox Engine, which is being used for the first time with this game. To demonstrate how beautiful the engine is, there is this promo poster, which may or may not be made using the engine, but it looks fantastic. How realistic this looks while being digitally made is just astonishing, and really shows how far games have come.

  2. The infinity engine is used on Madden 13. the engine is the most advanced ever that EA sport has ever put into a game. The engine allows for never repeating the same hit or the same play. Then engine always works on making everything new like if you were watching a real football game.the infinity engine might just be a stepping stone for more to come from EA.

The pic I have here is of the universe. I like the universe images a lot. I like the way the colors glow and I think the universe is fascinating. Ed Lopez created this image. He is a master designer with styles ranging from 3D integration, photo manipulation, and matte painting. He is currently living in Mexico City. He has been working with graphic design since windows 95 came out. He uses Photoshop for all of his graphic designs. Here are 2 links that show his work of art. The second link gives you a 30 min video of how he completed the image. There is also detailed info step by step on how he created this image just below the video with images of photoshop controls.

  4. alrighty.
    so portal.
it’s a valve game, and it is AWESOME.
i’m not in game design as my major, but i find it very fascinating.
portals is an increddible game, and vavle used the “source engine” in it’s design. valve create this engine and it is “widely recognized as the most flexible, comprehensive, and powerful game development environment available.”

the most amazing part about the game portal is the actual portals generated throughout the game.( http://source.valvesoftware.com/ ) valve modified and redesigned it’s engine to make it possible, and they do this frequently with their games. displaying a limitless programing/game design ingenuity.
in basic terms, valve uses source to set up camera tricks to make it seem as though the portals have depth and such.. they generate cameras all throughout every room and when a porta is created, the images of the many different cameras come together to give the player a three dimensional view into other rooms and sections of the game..
there are other amazing qualities that the game portal has too!! the application of real-world physics and the graphic in general are amazing.. valve is awesome. you can always count on them producing a beautiful and exceptionally entertaining game. xD

    yeah.. i’m done..

  7. The design that goes into the video game World of Warcraft is what really inspired me to want to pursue a career in video games. In every design you can see the bones in the facial structure and the muscles in their bodies. As the game has progressed the design has gotten better and Blizzard Entertainment is where i would love to work because of their designs.

The avant-garde film, Anti-Clock, from director Jane Arden (Co-directed with Jack Bond) is my current inspiration. An abstract science fiction film that is strange and hypnotic. It makes use of video and film, with projections, split screens and weird video effects. The piece uses these tools to explore how humans reflect on the past and the anxieties of the future. Filmmaker Jane Arden tragically ended her life a year later, making the piece even more poignant. I personally am inspired by how it’s technique is able to create a dense sense of mood and atmosphere.
