Look at the work of the artists below. Choose an image from one of the artists and describe the pieces that the artist used to create it. Look carefully at the way that the pieces were combined. Are the edges visible or invisible? How does the visibility of the edges change the meaning of the image?
Study the work of Maggie Taylor. Select one of her photographs and include the title in your post. Describe how each of the elements in the photograph (the objects, the background, the person portrayed, the title) contribute to the meaning of the photograph.
Analyze the logos that you come across during your day. Find examples of logos that use line and shape to communicate a specific message or identity. Select a logo and post a link to it. Describe how the lines and shapes work to create the identity of the company.
